Gift Gallery Exclusives

  • Carthusia Perfume from the island of Capri in Italy as well as Landstrom’s Black Hills Gold creations. The Carthusia line of heavenly scents for women and men was first established on the island in 1681 by the Carthusian Monks and was available exclusively on Capri until June 2004, when The Gallery @ Barr Photographics was chosen as the twelfth distributor in the United States. Nicknamed the “Scent of the Stars” because of the A-listers who use it as signature scents Carthusia boasts a level of exclusivity that is rarely seen in today’s retail market.
  • Landstrom’s Black Hills Gold Jewelry, one of the surviving art forms from the Gold Rush period of the American west. Created in the Black Hills of South Dakota in 1880, the Landstrom family was one of the originators of this jewelry art form. Black Hills Gold is still produced in the original design motif of grapes, the leaves, the vines and the pods. Indicated by three colors, rose, green and yellow gold, the Landstrom’s creations are truly a distinctive art form rarely seen east of the Mississippi.
